Color Crush! / 4

Friends, I have a new color crush and his name is Indigo. I know this comes as a dramatic shift from my previous color crush, Magnolia, but let me tell you why. This color has been trending for a couple of years now but I’ve been seeing a lot more of it lately, especially since tonal blues are trending right now. Indigo emanates a global, natural  feeling, which isn’t surprising since indigo dyes are grown in nature and the color has cultural roots in regions like Asia, India and the Middle East. As our world embraces global and emerging markets the lines between cultures is blurring more and more. Indigo is deep without being overly stimulating like a red or moody like black. I definitely don’t see it going away anytime soon.
