diy: comic book patch sandals

hello friends! it’s been so long since i posted last and it makes me real sad. i promise i got some stuff coming up but i thought it might be fun to kick off with another edition of ‘catherine glue’s patches on her clothes’! if you didn’t get catch my last posts – studio diy-inspired embroidered patch shoes and my saint patty’s day elbow-patch sweater – check them out! i love customizing my outfits this way. they’re so unique and special and pretty and it really puts that extra bounce in my step!

when i was doing my usual online window shopping (and loading up shopping carts with things i can’t buy right now) i stumbled on these amazing heels from asos (which i can’t seem to find anymore). seriously LOVE them. especially the pop-art comic book type.

if you’d like to try at home, here’s what you’ll need:

  • flats or sandals, i used these!
  • patches, you can use any ones you want but i used this one and this one from the etsy shop, coolarific
  • E600 glue
