hello friends! it’s been so long since i posted last and it makes me real sad. i promise i got some stuff coming up but i thought it might be fun to kick off with another edition of ‘catherine glue’s patches on her clothes’! if you didn’t get catch my last posts – studio diy-inspired embroidered patch shoes and my saint patty’s day elbow-patch sweater – check them out! i love customizing my outfits this way. they’re so unique and special and pretty and it really puts that extra bounce in my step!
when i was doing my usual online window shopping (and loading up shopping carts with things i can’t buy right now) i stumbled on these amazing heels from asos (which i can’t seem to find anymore). seriously LOVE them. especially the pop-art comic book type.
and i had that thought… the one i have about so many things, and said to myself ‘i am totally going to make those’ and here we are!
if you’d like to try at home, here’s what you’ll need:
- flats or sandals, i used these!
- patches, you can use any ones you want but i used this one and this one from the etsy shop, coolarific
- E600 glue
what do ya think?! i’m so in love, and i don’t think my obsession with putting patches on things is going to stop
