happy friday! this time of year is my favorite. i get a newly heightened sense of inspiration to decorate and cycle out the light colors of summer in favor of the cozy textures and warm hues of fall. i have this incredibly, gorgeous table that my boyfriend made (like with his bare hands!) but it needs that extra layer of autumnal lovin’. i’ve searched around the web for some inspiration and wanted to share some very unique ways to dress your table this season.

i just love how warm and inviting this table feels. using stumps as a place setting is a great way to layer in texture. if you don’t have the ability to saw some thick tree limbs (let’s be honest who does) i know there are great alternatives. i was able to find some at target, but couldn’t find them online so here is one similar.
as much as i love the rich reds, oranges, yellows and browns of a ‘classic’ fall table i have to say i really enjoy anna’s monochromatic centerpiece of white pumpkins mixed with green gourds, vegetables and a graphic black and white pattern.
the metallic accents and greenery creates a striking contrast against the black table.
i love jenny’s easy (and genius) idea of using apples, placed in an ombre pattern, as votive holders.
create a simple but impactful fall table by painting on a canvas and using it as a table runner. layer in small accents like pinecones, gourds and candles to set the autumnal mood.
what ways will you incorporate fall in your dining room?
