all of the holiday busyness had me behind on profiling the new color of the year! but without further delay, here it is. and for those that may not know, every year the trend experts at pantone announce their selection of color of the year, a color that has and will continue to be a hot trend in fashion, home and interiors.
this year is the first time ever that two colors were chosen so friends, say hello to pantone 15-3919 rose quartz and pantone 13-1520 serenity
the blending of the two shades creates a balance between the warm tones of rose quartz and the cool blue contrast of serenity that ultimately promotes balance and wellness. pastels have long been trending these past couple of years and it looks like it’s a trend that’s here to stay for a while longer as pantone predicts.
in the past i had never considered myself a lover of pink, but these days i just can’t seem to get enough. and pair it with it a calming blue? yes please. i’ve rounded up some inspiration of bringing these hot hues into your home.
